• Animal species and herd size (as provided by you in conversation)

What we do not collect

We will never ask for or store: your exact GPS location or village-level address, your full legal name, land ownership or tenure status, official herd registration numbers, national ID or passport data, or any financial information. If you share any of these voluntarily, we will not record them.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide you with veterinary advice tailored to your animals, location, and conditions. We also use aggregated and anonymized data to improve the quality of our service and to support animal health research in the MENA region.

Third-party services

To deliver our service, your data is processed by the following third-party providers:

• WATI (WhatsApp Business API provider) for message delivery

• Anthropic (Claude AI) for generating veterinary advice

• OpenAI (Whisper) for transcribing voice notes into text

• Google Sheets for internal conversation logging

These providers process your data solely to deliver the service. We do not sell your data to any third party.

Data sharing and anonymization

Your personal information is never shared with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Disease and health information may be shared for animal health research purposes, but only in anonymized form. Your identity is never connected to any shared data.

Government and regulatory bodies

We will never report your information to any government authority or veterinary regulatory body on your behalf. We will never share your identity, location, or contact details with any government entity. If we recommend reporting a serious disease to the relevant authority, that decision and action is entirely yours.

AI-generated advice

Our veterinary advice is generated by artificial intelligence. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary examination or diagnosis. We provide guidance to help you take informed action while you arrange professional veterinary support where needed.

Data retention

Your conversation history and profile data are retained for as long as the service is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
