Greener Herd was born from a simple observation: We talked to many Middle East farmers, who were losing thousands of Dirhams/Riyals every year because they didn't know which animals were profitable and which were costing them money.

In a post covid world, we learned how dependent the region had become on external sources for food, that we needed better food security and sustainability.
​
For many farmers traditional paper records and methods could not keep up. Spreadsheets were too complicated or highly manual to update, they offered no advice. International farm software didn't understand our region's unique challenges—Arabic language, feed and nutrition, and breeds specific to the Gulf.

So we built the solution ourselves.
